My work in photography began before I toured the Western part of North America in the summer of 2001. Nature has always fascinated and inspired me to learn the skill in taking quality photos. I never thought I would be the person taking great photos -- especially in exchange for money! It is a great feeling to achieve something from nothing when you teach yourself through trial and error. I now look to perfect my skills in photography by taking the time to learn how to better use light and how it can enhance an image, even in poor lighting conditions. I mainly focus mainly on landscape, nature or city shots.

On a personal level, I am from Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. Since graduating from university with my Masters in Chemical and Process Engineering, I have worked all over the world and now back in London. Wherever I have travelled, my trusty Canon EOS 300 has always been with me. I still haven't taken the step to go digital though.

Since my first tour outside the UK, which was in North America, I have been fortunate enough to travel all corners of the globe. What amazes me is the shear diversity and awe of the world's beauty. Wherever you go at whatever time of day, there is always something that catches the eye! My key to photos is positioning, keeping things symmetrical and simple, capturing good light at sunrise or sunset and finally, leaving prints untouched and natural.
